FRESH SALMON

Using fresh salmon for thisrecipeis the only way to go. Salmon is a healthy main course option that’s high inprotein,omega-3, andfatty acidsso adding it into our meal planning is a great idea. Some of our favourite types of SALMON include Atlantic salmon, Coho and Sockeye but prepare thisdishusing your favourite depending ontastes. You’ll notice boneless pieces of meat referred to asfiletsor fillets. Both terms are correct but we use the term fillet as it’s often used in the UK and Canada.

This sauce ormarinadeis especially flavourful. We know you’ll enjoy the way the gratedgingerandgarlicblend with the soy, brown sugar, andSrirachasauces. Can’t findSriracha? Substitute it forgarlicchili sauce or add asprinkleofchillies. You should be able to find both in the Asian condiment section of your grocery store.

OVENBAKE SALMON

Please don’t second guess the highoventemperature detailed in theinstructionsfor this post. The highoventemperature accomplishes two things. First, it sears the outside of the fish so that the flesh gets soft and flakey. The high heat also cooks the sauce to a pleasant crisp. Just wait until you take your firstbite. One thing to mention about service, the crispy salmon skin often sticks to the paper orfoilallowing for the flesh of the fish to come away ready to be devoured.
